Meet Amy GEiss
Hey you!
I’m Amy and I’ve always believed in showing up, even when I don’t feel strong. On my church mission in Costa Rica, I had a difficult night where I felt completely overwhelmed and inadequate. I remember thinking, “Why does this have to be so hard for me?” And the thought came: “So that it can become one of your strengths.”
That changed how I see weakness. I believe God really can make weak things strong — not instantly, but intentionally.
J209’s mission speaks directly to my heart because I love bridging gaps. Especially for people who feel like they don’t quite fit anymore. Maybe they’ve stepped away. Maybe they’re questioning. Maybe they’re carrying shame. They don’t have to believe everything the same way to feel God’s love. Music opens that door.
When I’m on stage, I try to be real. Vulnerable. Relatable. If someone feels less alone because I shared something honest — that’s why I’m here.
