My name is Jimmy Mohlman, and I’m the baritone. I love being in J209 because of the connections I’ve been able to build—and the strength I’ve found—in my relationships with God and His children. Relationships matter deeply to me, maybe because I know what it feels like to live without them. There was a time in my life when I felt completely disconnected and unwanted. That kind of loneliness made me believe I might never feel real joy again.

But God didn’t leave me in that darkness. He reached me through the very thing I was missing—people. He sent His “angels,” my family and friends, to remind me that I was seen, known, and loved. Through them, I realized God had been caring for me all along. I felt His Spirit stir something back to life in me. Slowly, I began to trust Him again, and I leaned into the grace of Jesus Christ to carry me forward.

Now, I sing to share that love—the love I once thought I’d lost. I sing because I want others to find the same hope and healing I’ve found. That’s why I love Jesus. That’s why I’m in J209.
