Meet Jimmy Mohlman

Nice to meet you! My name is Jimmy.

I know what it feels like to be lost in loneliness, sin, anxiety, and depression. I’ve wrestled with shame and that quiet voice that says you’re too far gone or too broken. There were seasons where I felt like I was drowning internally while smiling on the outside.

What changed me wasn’t suddenly becoming perfect — it was realizing Jesus chooses us every day. No matter where we are, He chooses to stand beside us and work through the mess with us. 

J209’s mission is personal to me because I’ve been the one who needed someone to tell me, “You’re not alone.” I want anyone who feels broken to have something solid to hold onto. Because of Jesus, there is light. There is hope. And you are not disqualified.

On stage, I bring big smiles and big energy! When I sing, I’m praying. I love looking into the audience and seeing someone truly feel the spirit of the music, because it reminds me that God sees us and meets us right where we are.
